Part 1: Agile Planning for Better Continuing Operations
1 Hour(s) - CPE Credit(s)
Most finance teams still drive an annual budgeting process to set targets and related bonuses. This includes approval of planned actions, headcount changes, and key operational details. This entire process is based on framework first documented in the 1920s which is filled with thousands of assumptions (some stated but many just imbedded in the numbers). The current business environment operates much faster and on a global basis. Fixed budgets are often obsolete even before they are published. It is time to make dramatic improvements by converting to agile planning.
Part 1 focuses on changing the way you plan continuing operations. We start there because most organizations must keep continuing operations running effectively to stay in business.
