Mathew’s journey from an NYC starving artist to a seasoned entrepreneur fuels his commitment to supporting fellow artists and preventing them from encountering the same pitfalls he faced. Inspired by his own experiences, he founded 10kCreators.com, a social enterprise dedicated to guiding 10,000 creators toward financial wellness through mentorship, training, community, and essential resources.
In his illustrious 18-year career in the accounting industry, Mathew has held pivotal leadership and growth positions across various firms. He’s lent his expertise to consulting numerous entrepreneurs and small business owners, fostering their success. Mathew’s influence extends to several esteemed boards, including the Sage Accounting Advisory Council, Womxn Talk Money Advisory Board, the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, and Pentacle.

Mathew’s artistic journey also spans over 18 years, characterized by his prowess in performing, choreographing, and teaching modern and contemporary dance. He co-founded two acclaimed NYC-based dance companies, Kineasthesia and Left Side Labs, leaving an indelible mark on the arts scene. His choreographic creations have graced prestigious venues and festivals across the Mid-Atlantic region, including Dixon Place, The Tank, and the New Dance Alliance’s ‘Performance Mix Festival.’
As a dancer, Mathew has commanded stages like The Joyce, Dance Theater Workshop, and PS 122, collaborating with renowned artists such as Nicholas Leichter Dance and ClancyWorks Dance Company. His dedication to dance education led him to instruct at Dance Conservatory Seattle and serve as Associate Artistic Director for ClancyWorks Dance Company. Currently, he’s embarking on a captivating journey in film production, collaborating with esteemed colleagues Gregory Bortnichak, Emma Batman, and newcomer Kady Richardson on a captivating dance film.
