Amy Welch
APR, CAE
Amy L. Welch, APR, CAE has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Amy is currently working as a Senior Vice President at CPA Trendlines since May 2022. Additionally, she holds the position of Mission Advocacy Architect at the Center for Accounting Transformation. Amy has a strong background in public relations and association work, having worked at Oklahoma City as a PR professional since May 1997. She has also served as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at the Oklahoma Society of CPAs from January 2004 until January 2021. Additionally, Amy gained experience in customer service and software support as a Customer Service & Software Support Manager at Jostens from October 1997 to July 2002, where she achieved high customer satisfaction and retention rates. Amy started her career as a Promotions Writer at KAMR - NBC in Amarillo from October 1999 to June 2000.
Amy has a strong educational background in the field of public relations and management. She obtained a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations/Management from the University of Oklahoma in the years 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations (Journalism) from the University of Central Oklahoma between 1991 and 1997.
In addition to her degree, Amy has also obtained certifications to further enhance her expertise in the field. Amy received accreditation as an Accredited in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in October 2007. Furthermore, she obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives in June 2014. These certifications demonstrate her dedication to professional development and mastery in their chosen field.
