The Center for Accounting Transformation Welcomes Michelle “Miki” McLean

The Center for Accounting Transformation is pleased to welcome Michelle “Miki” McLean to the organization’s Headquarters Team and back to the IntrapriseTechKnowlogies, LLC (ITK) family.
With more than 30 years’ experience in customer service, Miki is no stranger to the profession previously holding roles at the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA) and ITK in their Professional Education departments.
While at WSCPA, Miki was responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality events and education programs to CPAs and financial professionals throughout Washington state. Additionally, she planned and managed conferences, seminars and webinar logistics; coordinated vendor sponsorships and exhibit booths; and developed custom learning programs for CPA firms.
In her role with ITK, Miki was a senior consultant in the Professional Education division where she was responsible for managing the firm’s cadre of expert speakers who help to educate and inform CPAs both in public practice and business & industry. She helped facilitate bookings for conferences, webinars, and in-firm training events and also administered the online learning programs in the SMB Learning Center.
“Miki’s vast experience in the profession and in creating educational experiences is a wonderful fit for the Center for Accounting Transformation,” said Center Executive Director Cari Weston, CPA, CGMA. “Her proven record of supporting accounting professionals and identifying educational opportunities that #EnableTransformation, will truly be an asset as she helps associations and firms craft their professional education transformation journey. We are thrilled to have Miki on the Center HQ Team to bring integrity, know-how, and transformation to all our stakeholders.”
Driven by the Center’s Tenets, Miki has returned to help advance the organization’s purpose to accelerate the evolution of the accounting profession and #EnableTransformation for all stakeholders. Her role will include a focus on the customer experience and providing professional training and development resources within the context of the accounting profession and its associated disciplines. Additionally, she will serve as liaison between the Center and its various association partners and affiliates.
